Williams Rural Fire Protection District, established in the 1960's, is dedicated to the safety and well-being of the community of Williams, Oregon. Situated near the heart of the 'downtown' intersection of Williams Highway, East Fork, and Cedar Flat, it is our goal to support, promote and provide high quality Fire, EMS and Life Safety services to the community we serve. ODF Region 5 protects over 5 million ruggedly scenic acres in southwest Oregon. With hot, dry summers and frequent lightning, the region faces high wildfire risk. The Southwest Oregon District office oversees fire protection for diverse lands through responsible management, rapid response, and community partnerships.
