Jackson County Fire District #5

Jackson County Fire District No.5 is an all-risk agency that provides fire suppression, wildland firefighting, Advanced Life Support, hazardous material, rescue, and extrication services. JCFD5 operates out of three (3) fully staffed fire stations located in the communities of Phoenix, Talent, and unincorporated Ashland with a population of over 23,000.

Jackson County Fire District No. 5 provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, and technical rescue to a 120 square mile area in southern Oregon. Operating out of three strategically located stations, the district's firefighters and paramedics serve the communities of Phoenix, Talent, Ashland, and surrounding unincorporated areas.

The department responds to various emergencies including fires, medical calls, extrications, rescues, and more. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 has strong cooperative agreements with neighboring agencies for additional response support. Beyond emergency services, the district places emphasis on fire and life safety education for the community. With roots dating back to 1963, Jackson County Fire District No. 5 remains committed to serving its area with exceptional customer service.
