Illinois Valley Fire District

The Illinois Valley Fire District provides fire protection, emergency medical services, and fire prevention education to the Illinois Valley area in southern Oregon.

The Illinois Valley Fire District provides fire protection, emergency medical services, and fire prevention education to the Illinois Valley area in southern Oregon. Operating out of strategically located stations, the district's firefighters respond to emergencies including fires, medical calls, rescues, hazardous materials incidents and more.

Beyond emergency response, the Illinois Valley Fire District offers community risk reduction programs focused on wildfire preparedness and defensible space. This includes home assessments, education, and vegetation management assistance for property owners. The district has both career and volunteer firefighters serving the community. With roots dating back to 1954, the Illinois Valley Fire District remains committed to protecting life, property and the environment throughout its 145 square mile service area.
