The District’s 25 volunteers undergo rigorous training to stay prepared for medical emergencies, structure fires, wildland fires, motor vehicle accidents, and other response needs.

In addition to emergency response, the District places a strong emphasis on community wildfire preparedness and prevention. Through community chipping days, public education programs, and home ignition zone assessments, the District helps property owners reduce fuels and fireproof their homes.
