About

Warm Springs Fire & Safety

Warm Springs Fire & Safety's primary goal as a fire department is to protect life and property within the boundaries of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation.

Warm Springs Fire and Safety provides emergency response, fire prevention, and public education services to the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation in Central Oregon. As a full-time fire department with over 50 dedicated personnel, Warm Springs Fire and Safety is responsible for protecting life and property across the Reservation through rapid emergency response 24/7.

Operating from three strategically located fire stations, Warm Springs Fire and Safety responds to calls including fires, medical emergencies, rescues, and more. Beyond emergency response, the department places a strong emphasis on community risk reduction through fire inspections, code enforcement, and public outreach programs. Warm Springs Fire and Safety actively works to prevent fires and injuries by offering classes in CPR, first aid, fire extinguisher use, and other topics.

Warm Springs Fire and Safety also manages a robust volunteer program to supplement career staffing levels. With volunteers supplementing the force, the department can expand its capacity to serve the Reservation. Volunteers undergo training in emergency response to assist with calls when needed.

Looking to the future, Warm Springs Fire and Safety remains deeply committed to protecting and serving all communities on the Reservation. Through exceptional customer service, transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness, the department will continue its tradition of honorable service. Warm Springs Fire and Safety values courage, dedication, preparedness, and compassion in fulfilling its vital mission.
