Station 42 - The Interdimensional Hub

The TTFD's most elite unit, Station 42, is accidentally built directly over a nexus point of the multiverse. The firefighters are the best-trained, most stoic, and least-phased people on Earth, because they have to be.

Public Contact Information

While our colleagues at the main stations handle structural fires, medical emergencies, and the occasional aggressive raccoon, Station 42 handles... everything else.

We are the TTFD's Special Operations team, composed of the department's most stoic and highly-certified professionals. We maintain all standard certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and HazMat, with the unique addition of Interplanar Stabilization and Applied Temporal Decontamination.

Our Mission

"To maintain the highest standard of emergency response, regardless of the geometry, biological makeup, or temporal displacement of the emergency in question. We put the wet stuff on the hot stuff, no matter which dimension the hot stuff came from."

A Message from Captain Elias Varr

"My crew is the best there is. They are the calmest, most disciplined individuals I have ever commanded. They have to be.

Last week, my paramedic was triaging a Victorian-era gentleman who had spontaneously materialized mid-highway. Yesterday, my ladder crew was performing extrication on a sentient pile of antique cutlery. And this morning, we responded to a 'structural integrity concern' on a building that had inverted its color spectrum and was demanding tribute in polished pebbles.

Through it all, my team maintained textbook procedure. The gentlemen in Victorian garb received oxygen and cervical support. The cutlery was safely removed from traffic, and the inverted building was issued a standard code violation notice. We are firefighters first, last, and always. We just happen to carry an extra-long roll of red tape for the things that defy physics."

Captain Elias Varr, Incident Commander, TTTFD Station 42
