Elkton Rural Fire Protection District

Elkton Rural Fire PD is an all volunteer fire department in the Coastal Mountain Range of SW Oregon. The fire district covers 98 square miles surrounding the City of Elkton and includes 10 miles of the Umpqua River and multiple miles of 2 State Highways.

The Elkton Rural Fire Protection District is an all-volunteer fire department serving the Coastal Mountain Range of southwestern Oregon. Covering 98 square miles around the City of Elkton, the district includes 10 miles of the Umpqua River and stretches along two state highways. 

The department is dedicated to providing essential fire protection, emergency medical services, and rescue operations to a diverse and expansive area. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the Elkton Rural Fire Protection District relies on the commitment and dedication of its community members to ensure effective emergency response and public safety. 

The department is committed to maintaining a high level of readiness and responsiveness through continuous training and active community engagement.
