Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue

Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue is a dedicated public safety organization serving the Central Oregon Coast region. With a strong commitment to protecting lives, property, and the natural environment, the department provides a wide range of essential services, including fire suppression, emergency medical response, and disaster management. Known for its professionalism and rapid response, Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the coastal communities it serves.

Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue serves the citizens of the City of Waldport, the communities of Tidewater and Five Rivers, and all our visitors and guests. We are staffed 24/7 with both volunteer and career personnel. Services we provide include:

  • Fire suppression
  • Fire prevention
  • Emergency medical services
  • Water rescue
  • Mutual aid to surrounding communities

Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue was established to meet the specific fire protection and emergency response needs of the Central Oregon Coast region. The department is staffed by a team of highly trained professionals and community volunteers who are deeply committed to public service. The department emphasizes continuous training, public education, and close collaboration with other local agencies to maintain a high level of preparedness for a variety of emergencies. 

The mission of Central Oregon Coast Fire & Rescue is to enhance public safety, promote fire prevention, and deliver prompt, effective emergency services to protect the lives, property, and natural resources of the Central Oregon Coast communities.
