The Athena Volunteer Fire Department was established to serve the unique fire protection and emergency needs of the Athena community. Comprised of passionate and skilled volunteers, the department operates with a strong sense of duty and commitment to public service. Through ongoing training, community involvement, and collaboration with other emergency services, the department maintains a high level of readiness for various emergencies. The mission of the Athena Volunteer Fire Department is to protect the lives, property, and well-being of the Athena community through prompt, effective emergency response and proactive fire prevention efforts.
