It is the mission of the Athena Volunteer Fire Department to provide the best possible fire and public safety protection for the City of Athena, Oregon.

The Athena Volunteer Fire Department was established to serve the unique fire protection and emergency needs of the Athena community. Comprised of passionate and skilled volunteers, the department operates with a strong sense of duty and commitment to public service. Through ongoing training, community involvement, and collaboration with other emergency services, the department maintains a high level of readiness for various emergencies.
