Brownsville Rural Fire District

The Brownsville Rural Fire District was established in 1932 and provides fire, rescue, and first responder emergency medical services to the citizens of Brownsville, Oregon and the surrounding communities in mutual aide.

The Brownsville Rural Fire District was established to meet the specific fire protection and emergency response needs of the Brownsville area. Staffed by a team of highly trained professionals and committed volunteers, the district operates with a strong sense of duty to the community. The district emphasizes continuous training, collaboration with other agencies, and community outreach to maintain a high level of preparedness for all types of emergencies. The mission of the Brownsville Rural Fire District is to enhance public safety, promote fire prevention, and provide swift, effective emergency services to protect the lives and property of residents in the Brownsville area.
